- The hire agreement encompasses multiple garments, all of which must be returned at the end of the agreed hire period in their original condition.
- Adjustments are limited to trouser lengths, performed exclusively in-store, while blazers are provided as-is, without customization.
- Customers must provide accurate and current contact information to facilitate smooth communication throughout the hire process.
- Terms and conditions are subject to updates, and no additional provisions apply unless explicitly stated in writing.
- Suit hire is restricted to individuals aged 18 or older. Customers under 18 must present a signed parental or guardian consent agreement.
- Suit hire transactions are conducted exclusively in-store. No online or remote hiring services are available.
- A hire agreement becomes binding upon Cavani of Chester’s issuance of written confirmation.
- The customer initiating the hire is financially responsible for all items, including those within group orders.
- The agreement terminates once all hired items are returned unless charges for damage, loss, or late returns are outstanding.
- Measurements and Sizing
- Customers are strongly encouraged to visit our store for professional measurements to ensure optimal fit. Self-measurements are permitted but are undertaken at the customer’s own risk. Cavani of Chester disclaims liability for inaccuracies resulting from self-measurement.
- Measurements must be completed at least 60 days before the event. Orders within 60 days require immediate measurement submissions.
- Currently, only adult suits are available for hire; children’s sizes are not offered.
- Collection of Hired Garments
- Customers must collect garments in person from our store, as delivery services are unavailable.
- It is highly recommended that garments be tried on during collection and well in advance of the event to confirm proper fit and quality.
- Any issues with fit or garment condition must be reported immediately upon collection or by the following calendar day.
- Cavani of Chester is not responsible for issues arising from customer neglect or external factors beyond our control.
- Payment Terms
- A 40% non-refundable deposit is required at booking to secure the hire agreement.
- The remaining balance must be paid on or before the collection date.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and online payment systems.
- No refunds are provided for cancellations under any circumstances.
- Security Deposit
- A valid credit or debit card is required for the security deposit, the amount of which varies based on the style and value of the hired garments.
- The security deposit covers potential damages, loss, or late returns.
- Lost or damaged garments are charged at their full original retail price (RRP), regardless of any discounts or promotions.
- Returns Policy
- Garments must be returned to the Cavani of Chester store by the agreed return date specified in the order confirmation.
- Late returns incur daily fees as detailed in the order confirmation.
- Garments not returned within seven days of the return date result in the forfeiture of the security deposit, which covers the full retail value of unreturned items.
- Responsibility for Damage or Loss
- Customers assume full responsibility for the care and condition of all garments during the hire period.
- Lost or irreparably damaged items are charged at their full RRP. Customers are encouraged to handle all garments with appropriate care.
- Cancellations and Modifications
- Cancellations are non-refundable; however, customers may reschedule collection dates, subject to availability and prior approval.
- Changes to the hire agreement require written confirmation and are subject to availability.
- Liability and Force Majeure
- Cavani of Chester is not liable for losses or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
- Liability is limited strictly to the total hire cost paid by the customer.
- Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
